ND’s can order many of the same serum blood tests as your family doctor; which makes them a great compliment to your MD’s assessment, as NDs can requisition for another round for you at anytime. Because labs run by NDs are not covered by OHIP, and are paid for by you; they can be run for you anytime at the discretion of your ND and as thorough as your ND feels is needed for your assessment. This is a great way to check in on labs that have previously flagged abnormal for you, or if it’s just been a long while since your last check and you don’t have an annual physical scheduled with your family doctor.
Walk-in style appointments
