What is Psychotherapy?
Life sometimes feels like it has gotten off track and you’re not sure what to do.
Feelings of stress, anger, resentment, sadness, and fear can feel overwhelming and you don’t know where to start to help yourself. You don’t have to struggle alone. I will meet you where you are at and together we will figure out where you want to be and how to get there. We will work toward deepening self-awareness while processing your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. You are capable of learning new ways of coping with the right support.
Together we will take steps toward living a fuller, more emotionally healthy life. You are the expert of you and we will work together to create a plan that meets your unique needs.
I specialize in life transitions, grief, and loss.
Many struggles are rooted in loss and change – loss of identity, control, relationships, careers, and more. I offer you a safe space to explore your difficult emotions and experiences without judgement. Reaching out for help is not easy. You have already taken the first step by looking for support and someone to companion you on your wellness journey.
Schedule your free consult with me to discuss your goals, learn more about my approach to therapy and brainstorm if together we are a great fit.
This is your time. Time that you have decided to use to help yourself be the best you possible.
Psychotherapy involves a relationship between the psychotherapist and the client (you). My role in the relationship is to help you navigate your thoughts and experiences, and to assist you in setting your goals for therapy. I use evidence-based interventions and an individualized, trauma-informed approach to meet your needs. Together we will explore what is causing your struggles to gain insight and understanding. We will work on effective, long-lasting strategies for coping with present and future concerns, so you can take steps toward living a full and emotionally healthy life.
Relationships take work and sometimes that work feels hard. Sometimes as couples you face challenges that you are unsure how to navigate.
Couples therapy is a safe space to explore relationship concerns and work toward healthy outcomes. This is also time you can use to check-in on the health of your relationship and learn new ways of connecting with each other.

Please note that psychotherapy services do not direct bill insurance companies. Payment is due at the end of each session. You will receive a detailed invoice when payment is received which can be submitted to your health insurance plan if you have coverage.
Please check with your insurance provider to see if you have coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Make sure to also check how much your insurance covers per session and per year.
